
Good day sunshine! There is lots of information on nutrition and health out there, and that includes vitamin D the sunshine vitamin! A little bit overwhelming perhaps or for some, you just go with the flow and have some fun!
Part of my mission is to simplify the information for those ready move their health up the wellness scale. Just perhaps, you are tired of being tired. You need a healthier convenient diet that fits into a busy lifestyle. Children are not eating what they should. The need to take the clutter out of your home, your body, your mind, is a help.
Optimum Health
In order to bring your body to optimum health, one has to read and/or be educated. Part of my role is to educate you because it is important for you to know the What and Why. Be your own doctor in training!
Does your health matter to you? Most would say yes and not a trick question. Ask yourself this important question anyway. When you wake up tomorrow, how would you like feel and how would you look? WHY? Why do you want to feel this way? It is okay to be okay with what you eat. There may need to be a reason for someone to change or make different choices. It is entirely up to you or them.
Questions are important to build your motivation? You do deserve to be best you. It is in every one of us. Most importantly, it is never too late.
Do consider, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
What is Illness
I have read lots of information that leads me to believe that illness does not exist and that we disallow wellness instead. Our bodies are striving to be well and certain symptoms are survival mechanisms, such as, vomiting, sneezing, diarrhea. Crazy but true. Give the body what it needs and/or remove what keeps it unwell (including stress). Voila, the body cleanses and heals.
Balance is very sweet, sweeter than sun ripened strawberries on a hot Spring day!
Much of what works well today was known hundreds of years ago. Hippocrates, the father of medicine, says there is a cure for cancer.
One thing is for sure, our environment and the world around us is different today…more processed foods, less time for ourselves, more stress, less exercise, less fresh air and less sunshine (less vitamin D the sunshine vitamin), more radiation, more chemicals/toxins (including prescription drugs), and so on.
Sometimes a little change will make a difference. Consume healthy omegas not rancid omegas!
More is not better. The digestive system can only endure so much…eat less but more often!
Attitude counts. Eat to life and not life to eat!
Vitamin D the Sunshine Vitamin
It is written that our body requires 90+ key nutrients but the most common deficiencies include vitamin D, but you could be deficient in any of these key nutrients. However, when writing my book, it was discovered that science is on the fence on which nutrients are essential but it is clear much less than 90. Go figure! When you focus on whole foods and some fresh air and sunshine, details are not as important.
If you think you are getting your vitamin D from the sunshine…you might have to think again. The latest but not new news, is if you shower daily with soap or cleanser then you might be getting little vitamin D from sunshine. To make vitamin D3, you need both the sun (UVB rays) and cholesterol to make this. How many people are on cholesterol lowering medications? Vitamin D3 is best in an oil solution as it is oil soluble (not water soluble like vitamin C and Bs). Most supplements contain a powered form not oil in their products. FYI The Auum omegas have 1000 I.U. of a natural vitamin D3 oil per daily serving (1 tsp) in an oil just in case you need it – which most do in Canada or those with darker skin in the north – some goes a long way. You see many supplements with vitamin D3 and foods that are fortified with it. Babies and children are in need of these two vital key nutrients.
Story
For a number of years, a lady was tested to be deficient in vitamin D3. She took fish oil with vitamin D. She took various supplements with vitamin D3 but with no luck to elevate her vitamin D3 numbers into the normal range. Within weeks of taking the Auum Balance (formerly known as Sublingual D), she got her numbers into the normal range and she felt the difference.

Anti cancer is of value today for all ages. In cancer research, vitamin D the sunshine nutrient is shown to prevent cancer. I am gonna stick my neck out here. Solutions
Bathing – only wash certain key areas (for example, underarms and groin area 🙂 with soap daily/regularly as it takes 48 hours for the vitamin D to fully form (prevent cancer)
Sunscreen – limit your sunscreen as that blocks the very sun rays required to produce vitamin D for bone health, wear protective clothing (linens) to block some sun but not all and sunblock is necessary at times, such as during water play/boating and swimming
Creams – your skin is best supported from the inside out and with less soap use (plus enough healthy fats in your diet), the skin will be lubricated on its own; those natural oils will contain cholesterol, ready for action; your brain also suffers when there is a deficiency in cholesterol – there is a myth around cholesterol and it causing heart disease, do your research or ask me questions
Supplements – a natural unprocessed supplement with vitamin D oil especially beginning in the Fall preparing for the lack of sunshine in the winter (Canada – Winter Dec through Mar); a condition referred to as SAD (Seasonal Defective Disorder).
Outside – during the entire year, spend time outside when there is light (10-20 minutes daily, Jan through Dec) as it has been mentioned somewhere on my research travels that our eyes can produce vitamin D
Storage – as you produce or take more vitamin D oil, your body will store some but the balance is between how much you get with how much your body uses
Story
One Auum customer had dry skin and she slathered various healthy creams to avoid the itchiness. After one month of using Auum sublinguals her skin required no more creams. She even took another shower (2nd one) to see what would happen. Once again no cream required.

Champion for your better health…
