Your will is what you inherit when you are born and it just so happens the piece of papers left behind is a WILL. Will is an English word that has more than one definition or use and is the base of other words, such as willingness. What is will as it refers to you and your desire? Although desire may only do it some justice.

Been a while since i sat down and wrote a blog post but it is time. Will i have time? Tomorrow is a travelling day which will put i out of the country for four weeks.

With my willingness to share some words on a page, my fingers begin to type out what thoughts pop in. God willing this blog will provide some food for thought.

Will you find a comfortable seat?! Take this time to reflect on what our will has to do with your life, and your journey.

Applying Will

The key reasons for taking off months from writing are simple. My stepmother and father needed my help and i was willing to help. In 2022, my dear stepmother passed then my amazing father passed last July. The Will needed to be managed and that is a journey as a good detective phoned me the day of his death.

First death can be willed and my father was willing and tired of the itching and sore throat. His message to me after his passing was “it was the right time” so i wrote a song about it as if he was singing it. Things were not unfolding as he wanted but he knew in his heart it was only a matter of a few years or less. He was willing to take whatever medications the good doc had that would allow him to have a good night’s sleep. This is where i learned that psych drugs were used as a sleeping aid.

Hmmm…sleeping aids. i wasn’t willing to see him cut off from his emotions and need to constantly think about him falling. When one falls especially when they have thin blood, it requires a visit to the hospital especially if they hit their head.

Change takes willpower.

Born Strong-Willed

Will is strength, your inner strength that will strengthen when applied in your life like that of a muscle. Take a deep breath and feel your will in every cell and deep in your bones from your toes to the tip of ye head. Ye wills yourself to do or not to do something. If you want to do something big or small, take a large dose of willingness twice a day. The rest will unfold with knowledge of self.

What are you willing to do today to feel strong?

What did your will look like as a child, an adolescent, or an adult?

Were you willing to do your parents’ bidding or were you a rebel?

Your Will Power

Let’s explore your will as a willingness. It is written that all you need to do first is to be willing. Willingness is the first step to moving forward and upward for your best life. Will you answer these questions?

If something is bothering you, are you willing to talk about it?

If something happens to you, are you willing to look at how it makes you feel?

If it is raining outside, are you willing to put on your raincoat and rain boots to take your daily walk?

Are you willing to have an amazing day and be amazed at what comes your way?

Are you willing to grow?

Are you willing to hear what others have to say about you?

Are you willing to attempt new things?

Are you willing to turn off the TV when the news is negative?

Are you willing to look at your life to see if anything is holding you back?

Are you willing to face fears?

Are you willing to ask questions, to be strong, to be powerful, and to be loved?

How willing are you?

And the questions could go on and on.

Begin Your Daily Journey with Your Will

Will yourself to rise out of bed. Your will is what begins your inner journey. No one said it would be a piece of cake but if willing, you could eat cake and feel good about stepping into your power of choices.

Take some time to reflect on what you are willing to do and not do.

Journal perhaps.

Wishing you an amazing day your way. May the truth set you free…as it is written time and time again.

Much joy,

Cheryl
