Love Your Liver Gallbladder stones Nutritional CleansingLove your liver…

is to appreciate a vital organ. What about the gallbladder? Learn the importance of these two organs, the liver and the gallbladder, what major functions they provide us with and the possibility of preventing gallbladder removal and lowering your risk of a heart attack. That’s right a heart attack. Cancer too. Love Your Liver and gallbladder can now take on a different meaning for our well-being.

The liver performs over 500 different functions including fighting off infection, neutralizing toxins, manufacturing proteins and hormones, controlling blood sugar and helping to clot the blood.

Vital Liver Functions

Let’s begin with your liver. It filters your blood. Your blood is a river carrying oxygen, nutrients, waste products and more. The liver is performing 24 hours a day. Here is a short list from the 500 functions it performs regularly.Love Your Liver Gallbladder stones Nutritional Cleansing

  1. Provides your body with energy from producing and storing glucose and fat
  2. Cleanses the blood by neutralizing toxins, poisonous substances, etc. and metabolizing alcohol, drugs, etc.
  3. Manufactures essential proteins for the body that include transporting substances in the blood, blood clotting, and helping against infection
  4. Regulates body cholesterol
  5. Balances many hormones such as sex hormones, thyroid hormones, cortisone and other adrenal hormones (connected to Stress)
  6. Regulates the supply of essential vitamins and minerals such as Iron and Copper
  7. Produces bile that helps in removing toxic substances and waste, along with aiding in digestion (i.e. fat absorption)

At any one time, the liver contains about 10% of the blood in your body and it pumps about 1.4 litres through per minute.

Gallbladder Function

  1. Storage of bile produced by the liver for the purpose of food digestion (which is where it all begins)

We can survive without our gallbladder, and we can even give up a chunk of our liver and grow it back. Doesn’t it make more sense to take care of our liver and gallbladder to prevent stones, inflammation, cancer, heart attack, etc.? The people who have pain, complications and life changing side effects will concur.

There is no question about it. The food we consume plays a role in the health of these two organs. The statistics indicate that gallbladder removal is on the rise (close to 1 million in the US annually). Logically, it is a business. Those eating a processed Western diet including metabolic syndrome and obesity, insulin resistance and blood pressure, and much more, have increased risks. The toxins that you are exposed to will also play a major role from your medication to your household cleaners and much more. Short video on sources of toxins.

Liver Disease Prevention: There are over 100 different forms of liver disease caused by a variety of factors ranging from viruses and genetics to toxins and poor nutrition. The good news is that many of the most common forms of liver disease can often be prevented by understanding risk factors, taking precautions and/or making healthy lifestyle choices. — Canadian Liver Foundation

Just recently, I assisted a lady in her late seventies. She was booked for gallbladder removal surgery because her gallbladder was full of stones. The diagnosis took a while as she did have the same pain a year ago. Time to diagnosis causes pain and much discomfort for many people according to a few members in my walk club.

She reached out to me to avoid an operation because she is family and knew I helped many people with this. Immediately, I recommended diet changes. Next, I explained the process of removing gallstones safely and naturally. She began and dozens if not hundreds of stones of various sizes were ‘excuse my french’ shitted out in the toilet. You cannot help but look when the water is clearer.

With the increase in obesity, toxins, sedentary lifestyle and more, so is the number of operations. According to Epidemiology of Gallbladder Disease: Cholelithiasis and Cancer (US National Library of Medicine) the latter and easier operation procedure will only create an increase of operations.

People who have had their gallbladder removed go on to share how it has changed their life from only days after to years later. Most say they cannot digest their fats properly which results in discomforts such as diarrhea. With diarrhea you run the risk of malabsorption and dehydration.

I have not been diagnosed with stones but did the nutritional cleansing for removing liver and gallbladder stones. Hundreds and hundreds came out! What?! I had one that was almost an inch wide (see my photo on the right). Gallbladder StonesAs a child, I was on a diet of meat and potatoes with canned/boiled vegetables. My parents didn’t like salads nor were we made to eat veggies or drink water. A pitcher of milk and a plate of white bread with the famous butter dish adorned the dining table every night…more for another time. I must confess that the sitting down at the dining table was quiet (and not because of cell phones) and we took at least 30 minutes to eat.

There will be times where people may not have a choice. A severe gallbladder attack with the risk of an explosion is not a laughing matter.

Turning to the other side, you can choose to prevent or address an issue of supporting the liver and gallbladder.  Love Your Liver and gallbladder to see what it does for your energy, hormones, skin, and much much more.

Champion for your better health…

Before the age of 20, it never dawned on me that what I chose to put in my mouth would have such a dramatic effect on my wellbeing.
On my path of discovery, I learned that our eating choices directly affected how much energy we have first thing in the morning or that it would build our immune system strength during flu season.  I came to understand how gentle nutritional cleansing directly helped overcome my health challenges. People keep telling me how beautiful my skin is or how I look younger.
As my studies continued, it became obvious that there is an intrinsic connection between the mind, body and spirit which directly affects our health and happiness.  I learned that Omegas are another critical piece of the wellness puzzle. I became convinced when the Auum omegas alone turned on some switches in my brain in just one day.
I have developed a deep appreciation for the wonderful miracle workers our bodies are in the recovery process.  Our bodies have a natural intelligence.  I am passionate to share the connection between nutrition and wellness in my practice and my presentations.
