Y-Dan Exercise Classes are Simple, Safe, and At Home Moves for All Ages

Since 2011, Cheryl Millett has been practicing Y-Dan in the comfort of her home and when traveling. She has introduced various Y-Dan moves after the Sunday walks and offers optional morning sessions on the walking holidays. Millett began teaching students in 2018. In 2019, she taught a Sifu in the martial and healing arts (Kung fu, Qigong, and Tai-Chi) so he can bring Y-Dan to his students and retreats.

We found out about Y-Dan from Cheryl earlier this year. As healing arts practitioners, we wanted to learn more. Cheryl taught the class with fluency and kindness. The practice space was ideal and conducive for this kind of modality. We currently practice a variety of Qigong routines. Y-Dan is a unique style that really strengthens the mind and body. We now include Y-Dan in our daily practice and will most certainly pass it along in time to come. – Cecilia and David

“Thank you for a wonderful 6 weeks! I like your new video with all the cues. I try to do my practice every day. I find each week that my arms are getting stronger and I can keep going instead of having to rest them for a few seconds. I have told several people about the practice and your workshops.”

Mrs. Horng (age 72) said that after learning and practicing Waitankung daily, she feels great, hasn’t had a cold in years and her energy level is high. The purpose of the exercise, she said, is to build up the “chi” in the body. Chi means, inner energy.

    My Experience with Y-Dan

    Jack Di Nardo – Toronto

I have really enjoyed the benefits of Y-Dan as a gentle and easy to perform set of daily movements. It has improved my balance over time which is important to me as a Senior Citizen.

The movements have also kept me looser than my usual tin man body and helps me to play tennis and golf. I highly recommend this program for anyone wanting a simple and effective regime!
